Each of the books came individually wrapped, which makes it more fun for children as they open their books. I was sent the familia book subscription for review.

This is not only a sweet story, but it's also a song. You can scan the QR code on the back of the book and hear the book played as a song. My son and I read and sang this book together, and he tried to name all the Spanish words he knew.
Proud to Be Latino: Food/Comida $12.99
This book teaches young readers about different popular Latina dishes. Each two-page spread has information in English and Spanish. There are multiple dishes for each food category, along with interesting facts. In Honduras, there is a song about conch soup that was on the Billboard Top 100.
Fearless Trailblazers: 11 Latinos who made U.S. History $18.99
This is a bilingual book that features 11 different Latinos that have made history in the United States in their professions. This book features several popular people like Lin-Manuel Miranda (playwright), Cesar Chavez (Activist), and Jose Hernadez (Artist). In addition to practicing reading Spanish, children can learn about important people in history.

This Spanish book features a group of animals that live on the same street but have never met each other. Slowly they ended up meeting each other and finding out more about the people that live on their street.
The back of the book has a pull-out game, complete with little movable characters. The directions are also in Spanish. My kids and I will try to read the directions and play the game.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $71.24. This value includes the free book, but regardless of which picture book you consider the “free” one, this box still had a larger value than the cost of the month-to-month price. Both of my children are older than the age range of the box, but they have enjoyed reading the books. This subscription is an excellent supplement to my children's Spanish education.
