First Look

Recipes and DIY: There was a key ring full of recipes and projects to do with your essential oils.

Here are the full list of recipes:

Simply Earth Pine: Each essential oil came in its own little box.  This came from Hungary and is made with pinus sylvestris. The scent is a combination of evergreen and woody scents.  This was my favorite essential oil in the box.  I love the smell of pine trees, but my allergies prevent me from enjoying the real thing.

Simply Earth Rosemary This comes from Spain and is made with rosmarinus officinails.  The scent is described as woody and herbal.  I use many different rosemary scent products, so this was another great scent for me.

Simply Earth Frankincense This comes from India and a great choice for close to December.  The ingredients are boswllia serrata and is scented with spicy and woody scents.  I have never used frankincense before, so I was interested to check out the recipes.

Simply Earth Happy Joy This scent is a special blend of Grapefruit, Sweet Orange, Geranium, & Ylang Ylang Essential Oil. and designed to relieve stress and anxiety. You can really smell the citrus in this scent, which I liked.

Simply Earth Curb Hunger This combines scents of grapefruit, spearmint, & lavender essential oils.  The really awesome part of this essential oil is it curbs hunger, eases gas and promotes vitality.  With the holidays quickly approaching, I may need to bathe in this.

DIY Projects

There was a ribbon and string, along with labels for the recipes you will make.

There were smaller bottles for the essential oil blends, a jar for the air freshener and a bottle for the spray.  I made the spray and really like it for our dog bed.  I made the air freshener, but my box was missing the tulle for the top.  I think I have some around the house I can use.  Right now, I just have my air freshener sitting on a shelf in my living room.  You just combine essential oils to baking soda to make it.

Final Thought: This was really a great box.  I have bought essential oils before, and they are very expensive.  I like you get 5 each month, plus projects for only $39.00.  All the scents were great, though I loved the pine, rosemary and curb hunger best.
