The Wanderlust by BIKINI.COM November 2016 Review

The Wanderlust is a quarterly subscription by BIKINI.COM.  Boxes are $75.00/quarter and filled with over $250.00 worth of beauty, style, travel and fitness essentials.  Each box is based on a different beach location from around the world!  I am always planning my next vacation, so I was excited to check out a travel inspired box.

The Details:

Cost: $75.00/quarter

Coupon: Use the coupon SUBBOXMOM10 to receive 10% off The Wanderlust (either a prepaid yearly subscription or a one time purchase).

What's in the box? Each box is filled with over $250.00 worth of beauty, style, travel and fitness essentials.

The box was designed to look like a suitcase.  The box got a bit damaged during shipping, but everything arrived in great condition.

I was really impressed with the presentation of this box.  All the items were wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a pretty gold ribbon.  This month, The Wanderlust is traveling to Saint Tropez.

There was a travel guide, that included suggested music, books, a drink to enjoy.  There was also a list of must see places to visit in St. Tropez.

There was a thank you note on the inside lid.

Under the tissue paper, everything was laid out beautifully.  I love that several items were individually wrapped.

Trtl Soft Neck Support Travel Pillow $29.99 This travel pillow holds the head in an ergonomic position, so you can stay comfortable on long flights.  This wraps around your neck and had firm padding inside to let your head rest.

This is the directions.

To use, you put the rounded part against your neck, then wrap the fabric around your neck and fasten.

This is is my husband trying out the wrap.  We both really enjoyed it, though I am going to keep it.

Blythe Leonard Passport Holder $22.00  This leather passport cover was crafted in North Carolina.  Each leather hide is locally sourced and the color is beautiful.  I already have my passport tucked in this passport holder.

This is a look inside the passport holder.  You can put your passport on the right and your ID on the left.

Nabi Long Lasting Lip Gloss in Angel Rose $3.00 This lip gloss goes on smooth and really stays put.  After applying the test swatch, I tried to quickly wipe it off with a wet cloth and it didn't move.  I had to use my makeup remover to get this off and even that wasn't easy.

The color is a beautiful berry color.

Gold Ink Tattoo Temporary Tattoos $1.50 These peacock feathers can add a bit of flair, without getting near a needle.

Love Me Knots Sandbar Studs $18.00 each Each earring is handmade in Hawaii and made of 14k gold filled bars. The company gives a portion of each purchase to help provide needed care for an animal. I really love these tiny gold earrings.  They have style and aren't too big.

Void Beauty Nail Polish in Just Let Go $18.00 This 5 free polish is also vegan friendly and cruelty free.  The tops has a rubber coating, so the wand won't slip out of your hand when you are painting.  This color reminds me of the crystal blue/green waters I saw on my recent cruise.

Panda Bamboo Sunglasses: Jackson – Brown $120.00 These sunglasses are made by an eco-friendly company.  The glasses come in a thick cloth bag and were placed in a hard bamboo container.  I love the container, because I can toss it in my car and not worry about breaking the sunglasses.

These frames are designed to work with most every face shape, and are made of 10 layers of premium, eco-friendly Moso bamboo.  These are waterproof and even float, perfect for trips to the lake.  These don't fit super tight on your face, and are a very light frame.  I am horrible with sunglasses, but given these are $120.00, I am going to try to keep them extra safe.

This is a side look at the frames.

Psi Bands Acupressure Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea $14.92 These bands help with nausea from motion sickness, pregnancy and chemotherapy.  I have a family friend that is going through cancer treatments, so these are going to be given to her.  I like that the bands are attractive, and they look like a fitness band.

Klenskin Spa Shower Sunscreen $28.00 This is a shampoo, face and body wash, that also has an spf of 30!  It has a fresh, neutral/clean scent, so it can be used by anyone, without offending them with a fragrance.  I am going to use this on my boys.  They hate having sunscreen applied and this will save quite a bit of time.

Warpaint Natural Teeth Whitener $41.00 This black powder is an all-natural tooth whitener.  This is chemical and additive free, so it's great for sensitive teeth.  This contains coconut charcoal to whiten your teeth and essential oils to make it taste good.  It's really messy, so take caution when using it, though it does really work.

Bikini.com $5.00 Tote You can cart your necessities to the beach in this cute pineapple tote!

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $319.41, which was amazing.  I really loved this box and it ranks up there with my all time favorite boxes.  The presentation was lovely.  Items were indivdually wrapped, so it felt like you were opening a present.  Not only was the value impressive, but the items themselves are ones I will really use.  For $75.00/quarter, this is a great subscription.  Use the coupon SUBBOXMOM10 to receive 10% off The Wanderlust (either a prepaid yearly subscription or a one time purchase).  If you subscribe for a year, this coupon basically lets you get a box free.
