Treats September 2016 International Snack Review

Treats is a snack subscription box that sends treats and snacks from all over the world.  You choose between the standard or premium pack and each box is filled with snacks from a specific country.  Boxes are $25.95/month for the premium pack, and it includes 10 or more snacks.  The standard pack is $13.95/month and it comes with 5 or more snacks.  I was sent the premium pack for review.

The Details:

Cost: $13.95/month for standard, $25.95/month for premium

What's in the box?  Each month you will get an assortment of snacks from a specific country.

Shipping: Free shipping to the US. Ships worldwide.

The box was wrapped in craft paper and shipped by USPS.

The box itself is made to look like a present with the globe on the top.

First Look.  On top, there was a postcard with a picture and description of the country selected this month, South Korea.

The card gives you a background on South Korea and the treats in the box.

There is always an information card with a list of the snacks in the box.

This box was packed to the top with snacks.

Choco Boy Biscuits: These are mushroom treats with a cookie in the bottom and a chocolate top.  My kids have had these before and love them.  There is a good number of treats in the box, more than enough to share with our family of four.

Kancho Choco Biscuit: These cookies look similar to Koala's March, but the center is solid chocolate.  These have a stronger chocolate taste than other similar treats.  The sides of the snack have cute little pictures too.

Orion Choco-Pie These look and taste similar to a moon pie, but these have much more yellow cake.  There wasn't as much marshmallow as the picture suggests, but it was still very tasty.

Toasted Seaweed by Samjuga Gim Dried seaweed is a made by seaweed, which is seasoned and toasted.  My brother loves dried seaweed, so I always save my dried seaweed for him.

O!Karto by Orion These chips look like hollowed out in middle.  These taste like typical potato chips and are recommended to use with dip.

Waffe Mate by Lotte Lotte makes so many yummy different treats, I am always happy to try new products.  These waffles are coated with honey, making it a very sweet snack. Each waffle is crunchy, almost like a cookie.

Sweet Plum Candy by Haitai I have had plum candy before and it is a very popular candy in Korea.  These have a nice sweet plum flavor.  I am going to keep a few in my purse for sugar cravings.

White Cookie Pepero  This is similar to pocky, only the cookie stick is wider and there are bigger chunks of cookie on the outside.

Final Thought: This was a very box and it was packed with snacks.  I love trying new snacks and there were enough treats to share with my whole family.  The Kancho and O!Karto the best.  If you want to try Treats, use this link with the code CRATEJOY to save 15%.  Treats sent me an extra box, so I am giving it away to one of my readers.  Just click the picture to enter below!
