Treats August 2016 International Snack Review

Treats is a snack subscription box that sends treats and snacks from all over the world.  You choose between the standard or premium pack and each box is filled with snacks from a specific country.  Boxes are $25.95/month for the premium pack, and it includes 10 or more snacks.  The standard pack is $13.95/month and it comes with 5 or more snacks.  I was sent the premium pack for review.

The Details:

Cost: $13.95/month for standard, $25.95/month for premium

What's in the box?  Each month you will get an assortment of snacks from a specific country.

Shipping: Free shipping to the US. Ships worldwide.

The box was wrapped with brown paper and shipped by priority mail.

The box is very pretty, though it looks like a heavy box sat on mine during transit.

First Look.  On top, there was a postcard with a picture and description of the country selected this month, Sweden.

The card introduced this month's box and the yummy snacks inside.

The information card has a description and pictures of each snack.

Ginger Swedish Thin by Annas These thin cookies taste like ginger snaps.  They are even better with a glass of milk.  This is one of the snacks sent to the royal family of Sweden!

Raspberry Licorice Bar by Panda This licorice is all natural and free from high fructose corn syrup. It has a tart flavor and reminds me of a fig newton.

Licorice Pipe by Hellas This pipe is made of black licorice and Treats notes that Armand Gamache uses these too (character in a novel series).

Kex This is a little chocolate bar with layers of wafers in the middle.  There are several layers of the wafers, so there is a nice balance between the two flavors.

Ballerina Choko by Goteborgs  These are two chocolate cookies with chocolate in the middle (similar to a Hersey's Kiss).  These cookies have been around since 1963!

Guld Nougat Bar by Panda This bar is a softer chocolate mixed with Hazelnuts.  This was one of my favorite treats in the box.  I love chocolate and nuts together.  This company made the first nougat bar by any company.

Bilar Fruktkombi by Ahlgren These are chewy gummies in flavors: red raspberry, yellow lemon, and orange tutti fruitti.  If you look close, you can see the gummies are made to look like little cars.

Marabou Mjolkchoklad by Mondelez This milk chocolate bar is made with caramel throughout.  This is another treat sends to the royal family.

Crunchy Caramel Candy Bar by Daim This was really great! It's a combination of toffee and milk chocolate, but mixed together, it was an interesting bar. My husband has already snatched this bar for himself.

Raspberry Lemongrass by Lakerol These chewy candies are made from the Stevia plant and have only 3 calories, while also being gluten-free and sugar-free.

Final Thought: This was a great box and we loved all the treats.  I like that each box delivers a different country, so each box includes a different experience. If you want to try Treats, use this link with the code CRATEJOY to save 15%.
