The Details

Cost $25.00/month

What's in the box? Each box includes sample size spreads, condiments, jams, honeys, syrups, cooking sauces, oils, vinegars, salts, spices, seasonings, baking ingredients and cocktail mixers.

The box shipped in a huge brown box.

There was paper tucked inside to keep the box from being damaged.

Hatchery shipped in a study box.  It really felt like a nice gift box.

Everything in the box was individually wrapped.  I love boxes that present their boxes in such a fancy way.

Inside the box, there was a tasting guide, which included information about the products and the maker.

This is a look inside the tasting guide.  I love learning about where products come from.

Christabelle’s Spices Bombay Bliss $2,50 This is salt free and has a mix of smoky, sweet, and savory ingredients. The owner of Christabele's founded the company after wanting spices reminiscent of her childhood home in Bombay.

Taste Elevated Sweet & Tangy Mustard Seeds .95 cents This company was founded out of a couple's backyard.  They had a number of fig trees and began making their own Fig Chutney.  These mustard seeds are in distilled vinegar, mixed with sugar and garlic powder.

Formosa Jalapeno Hot Sauce $2.25 Inspired by Julio Lopez's grandmother's hot sauces, the Lopez continues the family tradition with their line of hot sauces.  This sauces get the green color from the jalapeno peppers.

Sir Kensington’s Special Sauce $1.20 This tangy special sauce will let you make a great burger at home.  Among the many ingredients in the sauce, this has paprika, mustard, and pickles.

Homeplate Creamy Peanuts in Honey $1.79 This peanut butter is made by former professional baseball players, who wanted ingredients they could pronounce.  I am going to eat this for lunch tomorrow, an excellent source of protein.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $8.69.  I thought this was very nice box and the quality of the product was great.  I was disappointed in the value of the box.  While it's not expected to have a high retail value in an artisan box, I think $8.69 is too low.  If you want to subscribe, use this link Kamran to get your 1st box for $10.00.  While this box didn't have a high retail value, the coupon makes this a great deal to try.
