First Look

The theme for January is “Invasion”.

There were some great articles in this month's magazine.  One of the the first articles was “How to survive an Alien invasion.”

There was also a great article about “The Truth of the X-Files”.

Exclusive X-Files The Day Has Come T-Shirt $15.00 Loot Crate had a design contest with Threadless for this month's t-shirt.  My husband and I love the X-Files and I wish I had received this shirt in my size.

Exclusive “Invasion” Mini Art Prints I love old Sci Fi movies, so these prints are a bit hit with me.  These prints are printed on thick cardstock and will go in my movie area.

Exclusive The Fifth Element Prop Replica Multi Pass This is an officially licensed prop replica of Leeloo Dalla' Multi Pass.  There is a clear sleeve you can put your ID in and a chain, so you can wear it around your neck.  My husband likes the prop replica more than the iD holder, so it will probably go on his geek and gamer shelf.

Exclusive Alien Facehugger Plush From the movie Aliens, or the more recent, Aliens vs Predator, this is a plush version of the facehugger alien.  This is one one of the creepiest parts of Alien, but Kidrobot made it into a cute plush.  It comes with a rubber band, so you can attach this to your face.

This is an example of how it works.  This could make for a cool Halloween costume.

Exclusive Space Invaders Vinyl Figure So I used to be a master at Space Invaders and even had my name on the arcade game leader list.  I love this vinyl figure and I have to have the other two figures.

Exclusive X-Files LED Flashlight This is no ordinary flashlight.  It has an anti-shock swtich and is water resistant.  It has a bright beam that is much better than your average flashlight.   This is going in my purse.

Brand New and Exclusive January 2016 Loot Pin:  This month the pin not only fits with the theme, but unlocks special bonuses.

This month the pin unlocks Letter 44 Issue 1 Comic.

The box turns into a video game box.  The front is the Space Invaders video game console.

This is a look at the back of the box.

Final Thought: This was a fantastic box and I knew all the references in this month's box, minus the comic book.  The Space Invaders Vinyl figure was by far my favorite item.  The t-shirt was pretty awesome this month and I would love to have one of my own.  You can try Loot Crate click HERE and use the coupon SAVE3 to save $3.00 on your subscription or subscriptionboxmom to save 10% on any subscription plan.
