First Look

The information card listed the two companies featured in the box, both are from Canada.

All the cards were in plastic sleeves and bundled together.

Featured Company: Sweet Peony Press.  These cards are printed on cotton paper and each card is hand panted.

Blitzen Card $8.49 CAD Not the most well-known reindeer, but this is a very majestic looking card.  I can't believe someone hand painted this.

Merry Shortbread Card  $7.07 CAD I love homemade shortbread.  This is a great card for the foodie in your life.

Faceted Heat Card  $7.07 This is a card that can be sent any time of the year to tell someone you love them.

Kiss for Santa Card $8.48 CAD This would be a great card to thank something this time of the year.  I like the vintage look of this one.

I Heart U Card $7.07 CAD This is a beautiful I Love You card and I think it should to someone extra special in your life.  I think my mom is going to get this one.

BONUS PRODUCT: There were four gift tags included with these cards, two of each design.

Featured Company: Made in Brockton Village  These series of cards combine a holiday greeting with a recipe.

Old Fashioned Holiday Drink Recipe Card  $4.90 This card reminds me of one of the family Christmas parties I attend ever year.  Everyone (of age) grabs a drinks, sits in the living room and everyone sings the 12 Days of Christmas.

The back of the card has a recipe to make an Old Fashioned.

Eggnog Holiday Drink Recipe Card $4.90 This card has a fun little quote on the front.  This is a print of an original gouache painting.

The back of the card has the recipe for eggnog.  My husband is the only one who drinks it, so he usually just buys it, but maybe we will make it this year.

Mulled Wine Holiday Drink Recipe Card $4.90 This card makes me think of sitting in front of a warm fire while drinking a nice drink.

Like the other cards, there was a recipe on the back.

Final Thought: This was a very nice box.  It had a total value of $48.56.  For the total, I converted the CAD to USD then added the cost of the recipe cards. I love the cards from Sweet Peony Press.  The fact that they are hand painted makes them all the more special.  If you want to try CardBox, use this link with the code NOVEMBERGIFT to save 10% on gift subscriptions.
