The Believer's Box November 2015 Review

The Believer's Box is a Christian subscription box for women, that sends three pieces of jewelry, a Christian print, and scriptures cards for only $25.95/month.  The items in the box focus on strengthening your relationship with God and strengthening your spirituality.  The Believer's Box also gives you several scriptures to pray and reflect on each month.

The Details:

Cost: $25.95/month, $86.85/3 months, $167.70/ 6 months

Coupon: Use this link with the coupon BELIEVERS5 to get $5.00 off your first box.

What's in the box? Each month you will get three pieces of jewelry or accessories, a print and 2-3 witness/scripture cards.

The Believer's Box shipped by USPS and comes in a beautiful box.  The front of the box is printed with a scripture from John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his own begotten son that whoseoever Believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

First Look.  The box included an information card with scripture references to most of the items in the box.  The theme for November is Thankful.

Print: Every box comes with a print and this month features 1 Chronicles 16:34 ” Thanks to the Lord for he is good.  His love endures forever.”  The script is printed in gold foil and will go in my Christian inspiration frame.  I keep a 5×7 frame on my desk and put Christian prints or inspirational quotes in it.

What's in the box?

Cross Necklace: This cross necklace is an outward reflection of your faith and a symbol to others to come to know Jesus.  The necklace hangs down about 16″ (not counting the tassel and cross), but there is enough spare string at the top to shorten it if you like.

The Believer's Box references Romans 5:8 for this cross “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”

So have you come to the cross today?
Have you laid down the pain, sorrow, and burden at the cross
When you lay down those burdens, He will give you His joy
Come to the cross again.
Remember the sacrifice He made, and say, “THANK YOU. Lord for what you have done for “.

This piece really spoke to me.  It's often hard to lay down all your problems, worries and concerns and turn them over to God, but it's only then you can receive God's joy. This is going to be part of my reflection this week.

Mini Scripture Cards: The scripture cards this month focused on Thankfulness.  These would be nice tacked up in your cubical at work (or office).  You could also write a message on the back to someone you are thankful for, and give it to them.

Fall Acorn Earrings:  While these earrings are really cute and perfect for fall, they hold a deeper meaning in Isaiah 61:3. “….to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of rightousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.”

These earrings (I believe) represent the fruits of God's love for us.  God plants his roots in us as Christians and through our faith, helps us to grow closer to him.  Regardless of your belief, the red/pinkish acorn earrings are really beautiful.

BlendedLove Fall Cozy $4.00  This is a handmade cozy made for your coffee up (non handled versions).  I don't drink tea of coffee, so I am using this for my water.  The Believer's Box recommends using this cozy on your beverage of choice for your daily or weekly reflection/bible study.

I am on a mission to drink a gallon of water a day (it's really hard), so I am trying to use fun cups to make it easier.  While the pumpkin doesn't exactly match my Muppet Tervis cup, I think it looks pretty cool.

Thankful Charm Bracelet: This Alex and Ani inspired bracelet has four charm representing, Christianity, family, friends, and thankfulness.  This is a nice stylish piece to wear when you want something small but still show your Christian faith.

Final Thought:  I really loved this box and the box really spoke to me on a spiritual level.  I love the scripture references to the pieces in the box.  The acorn earrings and cross necklace were my favorite pieces in the box and the scriptures will be part of my meditation/reflection time.  The Believer's Box doesn't just send a box of Christian items, they also send you scriptures to help you grow in your faith.  You can check out The Believer's Box with this link and save $5.00 with the code BELIEVERS5.
