First Look
The information booklet is filled with details about each company and the featured snacks in the box.
Crunchy Toffee Topped Caramels by Poisoned Apples This toffee/caramel is almost like a little cake . It is has a thick cake/shortbread cookie covered in caramel and toffee bits.
Bleeker Street Brittle by Studmuffin Desserts This was my favorite item in the box! It had all the traditional flavors of peanut brittle, but you didn't break a tooth trying to eat it, It wasn't soft, but it was really easy to eat.
Thanks-olate bar by Seattle's Chocolate This chocolate bar was my favorite treat in the box. It's made of milk chocolate and filled with bits of toffee and sea salt.
Classic Tennessee Toffee by Shotwell Candy Co. This was the snack that fell short of our expectations. This is buttery toffee, barrel aged bourbon, pecans and dark chocolate. Honestly, I felt it was a bit too much toffee for this treat.
Maple Caramel by Dottie's Delights This caramels were soft, chewy and they had a nice maple flavor.
Final Thought: My husband was a bigger fan of this month's box than I was. For me, the whole box seemed to be caramel and toffee.
