First Look

The front of the information card had a description of this month's box and a definition of Fair Trade.

The information card had a list of everything in the box and the retail values.

Bow and Arrow Candle Company Witches' Brew Soy Candle, Pumpkin Spice and Tobacco + Bourbon   $7.00  All Bow and Arrow candles are made with soy wax and are hand poured.  The Witches' Brew Candle is an exclusive for LituBox and is a mix of cinnamon, bergamot, jasmine, rose, and more, a fantastic scent.  There were also two little tea lights in pumpkin spice and tobacco & bourbon.  I like both tea lights but I am partial to the pumpkin spice.

Tili Glass Handmade Glass Earrings $18.00  These glass earrings are handmade in Chili though a program with COMPART, which helps improve the lives of people through exporting goods.  I am saving these for a Christmas gift, as they will be a fantastic gift for someone on my list.

Just Good Chocolate Better World Brownies $6.75 These are fair trade certified and twenty-five cents of every bag goes to ON THE GROUND, an organization that develops fair trade practices with farmers around the world.  We have received these before and they are quite tasty!

LituBox Handmade Worry Dolls and Gemstone $5.00 I was really excited to see worry dolls in the box.  They are made in Guatemala and these are going to my old son.  You tell the worry doll your worries, tuck it under your pillow, and your worry is gone the next morning.  There was also a gemstone, which my son is obsessed with.  My son always asks for any rocks, gemstones or crystals from my subscription boxes

Maya Traditions Handwoven Drawstring Pouch $7.00 The profits from this bag are going to UNICEF's program to give water, clothing an vaccines to Syrian children.  The bag itself is so colorful, it makes he happy to look at it.  Litu suggested using it as a gift bag or for travel.  It think it would also work well as a reusable snack bag.

Equal Exchange Organic 55% Dark Chocolate Treats. $1.60 These chocolates are fair trade and come from co-operatives in teh Dominican Republic, Peru, Peraguay and Madagascar.  I love how dark chocolate is so rich in flavor, you can be satisfied after just eating one piece.

YUMEARTH Organics Organic Vitamin C Lollipops $2.50 My kids love YUMEARTH Organics lollipops and I love that they are allergen free, organic, gluten-free and vegan.  This is about as healthy as a sucker can get.

There was a card letting subscribers know Litu Box uses eco-friendly packaging and there was a beautiful quote.

Final Thought: This box had a total retail value of $47.85.  I really loved this box and there was a great mix of items.  I got two perfect gifts for Christmas giving, candy, candles, brownies and a cute bag.  I can't think of how this box could be any better; perfect box, perfect selection.  You can check out Litu Box with this link and use the code SBM25 to save 25%. exp 11/25  Just go to their shop to get this box.  Regular subscriptions start in December.
