Snakku is a Japanese snack subscription service that is very different from other boxes I have reviewed.  Snakku specializes in sending Japanese snacks that you can only get in Japan.  All the snacks come from local snack makers in Japan.  Boxes are $38.95/month and filled with 10-15 expert curated snacks.  If you upgrade to a 3 or 6 month subscription, you will get a free Traditional Japanese Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth.

The Details:

Cost: $38.95/month, $116.85/3 months, $225.00/ 6 months.

Coupon: Use the coupon SUBMOM to save 10% on your first box.

What's in the box?  Every box contains 10-15 expert curated Japanese snacks.

How do I cancel?  You can cancel using a special URL you are given at signup.

The box ships in a plain Priority Mail box and comes wrapped in a Traditional Japanese Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth.

Inside the cloth, there is a beautiful box that slides out.

First Look

There is a beautiful two sided information card that tells you all about the snacks in the box.  This box features snacks from Hokkaido.

Featured Snacks

Shiriu Koibito: These are butter biscuits with white chocolate in the middle.  These were a wonderful sweet treat.

Yakitoukibi These little snacks are made from corn and rice, then glazed with soy sauce.  This is a sweet and salty treat from Spporo Ohdori Park.

Kinoyoya Milk Cookies These cookies are made with 100% natural and organic milk.  These are just sweet cookies that almost crumble in your mouth.

Sapporo Curry Senbei  These little curry chips have a crunchy salty curry flavor mixed with a soy sauce flavor.

Bourbon Lubera These are butter cookie cigars.  They have a heavy butter flavor with a light cookie texture.

Kinoko No Yamai:  These mushrooms are made of a cracker/cookie base with a milk chocolate top.

Northern Sable Eggs These are made in northern Japan from free range eggs.  They tasted similar to a sugar cookie.

Pota Pota Yaki These rice crackers have a sweet coating on top, similar to last month's Senbei snacks.

Puccho Cola Candy This is cola flavored candy that fizzles in your mouth.

Final Thought: This is was another tasty box from Snakku.  I love how Snakku sends treats that are new and unique.  The box has great presentation and a great selection of snacks.  You can try Snakku with this link and use the code SUBMOM to save 10% on your first box..
