The Details:

Cost: $39.95/month

What's in the box? Boxes include two critically acclaimed movie classics between 1940-1990's, sweet & salty gourmet treats, and movie trivia.

Movie Night Box shipped in a cute box that was covered in a film strip.

There was a movie ticket sticker that sealed up the box.

First Look:  Everything was wrapped in grey tissue paper and held together with film real.

This box was themed “The Works of David Fincher”.  David Fincher is a famous director of such movies “The Social Network”. “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, “Seven” and “Fight Club”.  There was a two-sided information card filled with information about David Fincher.

Sweet Bricks Cookies n Cream Toffee $7.99 Movie Night Box included a 1/4 lb of their Cookies n Cream Toffee.  Butter toffee is poured over Oreos, then covered with white chocolate.  This stuff is amazing and didn't make it to movie night.

This is a look at the treats, simply amazing.

CC Made Caramel Popcorn $5.00  This is 3 oz of fresh caramel popcorn.  This one did made it to movie night, but is long gone down.

Chuao Pretzel Toffee Twirl $6.00  This was by far my favorite treat.  This dark chocolate bar is made with toffee and pretzels.  This is incredibly good, I can't express how fantastic this tasted.

Caramels $2.50  I am not sure who made them, but my husband loved these soft caramel pieces.

The caramels and chocolate were packed in insulated bags with a freezer pack, to keep them from melting.

The first movie selection was Fight Club.  There was a two-sided card with information about the movie and interesting details about specific details at different times in the movie, think VH1 Pop Up videos.

Fight Club $5.00  Edward Norton and Brad Pitt were featured in this movie about a fight club with very few rules.

Fight Club Soap: $5.00 To go with the movie, a replica of Fight Club soap was included.  It was hard to get a retail value of this, as it is selling for as much as $20.00 online, so I gave an estimate.  This soap has a fresh scent and I hope, a “fat free” version.

The second movie was Seven, another movie starring Brad Pitt and the seven deadly sins.

Seven (Single Disc Edition) $3.74  I remember seeing this in the movie theater and loving it.  I don't already own this movie, so I was happy to see this in the box.

Final Thought: This box had a total retail value of around $35.23, which is a bit less than the $39.95 price.  While I wish the value was a bit higher (maybe another item or two), my husband and I really enjoyed this box.  The snacks were fantastic and I liked learning about different things in the movie I didn't know.  If you want to try Movie Night Box, use this link.
