My Pretend Place Dress Up Box July 2015 Review – Veterinarian – Gender Neutral Box + Coupon

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.  I received this box for review.

In addition to the awesome Firefighter box this month, we were also sent the My Pretend Place Gender Neutral box, which features a cute Veterinarian Dress Up outfit.  My Pretend Place is a subscription box for children 3-8, that encourages pretend, dress-up, learning and imagination. My Pretend Place‘s mission is to get children crafting, dressing up, pretending and using their imaginations!  There are two boxes, a dress up box and a DIY Projects Subscription box.  The Dress Up box is $50.00 every 3 month (quarterly) and comes in boy, girl or gender neutral.  Each box will contain dress-up costumes, activities or crafts, and other pretend play inspiration.  Every three months, you get a big box of goodies and the two off months, you get free bonus materials.

I was sent the Gender Neutral Dress Up Box for July 2015.  The theme for July is Veterinarian!

The dress up box always comes in a huge box that turns into a suitcase/storage box.

First Look

Inside the envelope is a magnet, information card, sticker and handle.  Your child can decorate the box, add the handle and take their box anywhere.  We store all our My Pretend Place months in their boxes.

There was a letter from Doctor Elle Fant (don't you love the name).  Dr Fant is sending your child everything they need to get starting training to become a veterinarian.

Melissa and Doug Veterinarian Dress Up Costume This costume is just the cutest, there is a jacket, hat, mask, along with several tools and a puppy.  The stereoscope makes real heart beat noises.

There is even a logo on the back of the jacket.

My Clipboard Project:  There was a little craft/project where your child can make their own clipboard to use during checkups.

Because I am a cool mom, I let my son do the project on our carpet.  Luckily my 6-year-old is great with glue.

The completed project features puppy and kitty heads and paws to check off with the included chalk.

There was a second project where your child can decorate their own veterinarian bag.  There was a little bag, stamp pad, stamps and a crayon.  My youngest completed this project.

T really loved stamping the bag.  I helped make the cross in the middle

One of the cutest inclusions were these pictures and x-rays.  My oldest love learning parts of the animal's body.

Let's Meet a Veterinarian Book:  Every box contains a book and this month, it was all about being a veterinarian.  This walks your child through all the thing a vet does.

This is a look inside the box, my 3-year-old really loved this book.

My little Veterinarian.

My sons love animals, so they have loved playing with this month's box.

Final Thought:  What a super cute box!  My Pretend Place is just the cutest box for kids 3-6.  Each dress up box is better than the last and this Veterinarian might be my favorite box to date!  I love how there were two projects in the box, so each child had something to do. Remember in addition to this box, your child will also get little surprises for the next two months  like a sticker activity, recipes, and more.  If you want to My Pretend Place, use this link with the code pretend to save 30% on your first box of the dress up box or the craft subscription.
