OmNomBox June 2015 Review

OmNomBox is an Asian snack subscription box, that sends a box of tasty goodies each month.  “OmNom” is the sound of someone eating yummy food, so that is the reason behind the name. OmNomBox is $25.00/month and they send a yummy bunch of snacks from Japan, Korea, Taiwan and more!

The Details:

Cost: $25.00/month

Shipping:  This box ships worldwide.  There is free shipping to the United States and there is a fee for international shipping.

What's in the box? Each month, you get a large selection of snacks from all over Asia.

How do I cancel? You can cancel from your account.

The box features the OmNomBox monster with the logo on the front.

The packaging looks like a little monster, I love it!

The information sheet has pictures and a description of all the snacks in the box.

Matcha Oreo: These soft oreos are filled with green tea filling.

Sanritsu Heike-Pie: This pastry has flaky layers with liquor filled raisins on top.  My husband really enjoyed this one.

Kameda Age Ichiban: These are rice crackers with a sweet sauce on top, that tastes a bit like soy sauce.

Kuai Kuai Corn Soup Stick: This corn snack has the similar texture of a puffy Cheetos, but it tastes like a combination of sweet and salty.  It is flavored like the Taiwan soup, corn potage.

Hey Song Sarsaparilla: This is root beer from Taiwan, which is growing in popularity there.

Wasabee Chips:  These crunchy chips are flavored with spicy wasabee.  Some subscribers received Chilibee, a spicy chip.  I am not a fan of wasabee, so these chips weren't for me.

Choco Snack:  This is the same corn snack as Kuai Kuai Corn Soup Stick, but is covered with milk chocolate.  I think this was my favorite item in the box.

I-Mei Puff Snacks: These puffy pastry snacks are filled with a lemon filling.  Some subscribers received chocolate.  The lemon was good, but I bet the chocolate is amazing.

Chocolate Banana Pocky: I recently had this in another box, and I liked the chocolate/banana combination.

Morinage Hi-Chew: These have been in several boxes and they are my family's favorite snack.

Strawberry Koala's March: These cookies have various Koalas on them and are filled with strawberry.  My 3 year old loves these and ate the whole bag.

Champion Fried Cookie:  Some cookies are filled with peanuts and others are filled with almonds.  Honestly, the cookie had such a pronounced taste, I couldn't tell which kind of nut was in the cookie.

Kawaii Chopsticks: As a bonus, a pair of Kawaii chopsticks with a cute little panda case.

Final Thought: OmNomBox sent a nice selection of snacks.  I have reviewed many Asian subscription boxes and OmNomBox sent a large amount of snacks that were new to me.  The choco snack was my favorite “new” snack and the Hi-Chews are always great to have.   If you want to try OmNomBox, you can check them out at this link.
