My Pretend Place Play Projects June 2015 Review

The June 2015 Pretend Place Play Projects arrived and this month, it's all about music!  My Pretend Place Play Projects is craft and play subscription box for children aged 3-8 years old. My Pretend Place also has a dress up box that is designed for 3-6 year olds.  You can read my dress up box review from April here, it is all about Superheros!  I also reviewed the pirate gender neutral subscription here.

The Play Projects Subscription box is $15.00/month and each box comes with 2 crafts to complete.  You get two of each craft, so this box is great for siblings or sharing with a friend.  You choose between boy, girl or gender neutral.  I am reviewing the June 2015 Play Projects.

The Details:

This month's box shipped in a small box, covered in brown paper.

The box itself was plain white, so your child can decorate it!

First Look

There was a letter from Adagio Toccata (I love the name, very musical), who invited your child to join a band.

This month, your child will make maracas and a rhythm board.  These are instruments your child can practice on, so they can join the band,

My Pretend Place included foam stickers, and a handle so the box can be turned into a little suitcase.

This is the finished suitcase, it can hold all the instruments from this month's kit.

My Pretend Place included not only the instruments, but paint, stickers, markers and paintbrushes, so your child can get creative.

L went to work painting the maracas.

Finished project:  L decided to do one maraca in each color.

L used markers to decorate the rhythm board.

Foam stickers completed the project.

This is the finished rhythm board.

Final Thought: This was a really fun box, as always.  I like the finished craft can be played with over and over.  The instruments are very sturdy, even for a 3 and almost 6-year-old.  I think this is my favorite My Pretend Place Play Projects box.  You can use this box for 2 children, or let one child decorate both instruments.  If you want to try My Pretend Place, use this link with the code pretend to save 30% on your first box of the dress up box or the craft subscription.
