Hawaii Snack box comes in a box with Hawaiian flowers all over it.

First Look

There was a pretty information card with a list of everything in the box.

There was a culture card that listed ways to pronounce different sounds in Hawaiian words.  I loved that there was a piece of cultural information in the box.

Hawaiian Natural Tea – Passionfruit Orange: This tea is low in caffeine and high in antioxidants.  This green and black tea blend is passion-fruit orange and USDA organic.

Hawaiian Host: There was two milk chocolate covered macadamia nut clusters in this package, and they were fantastic.

The Jade Company Li Hing Mui Cotton Candy: This has the texture of regular cotton candy, but the taste was a bit different.  Li Hing Mui is actually a dried salty plum rolled in sweet powder.  This company made cotton candy that flavor by added the Li Hing Mui flavor as a powder on the cotton candy.

Honua Honey Macadamia Blossom: These set of 8 sticks of honey are made on the Big Island, from bees that pollinate the macadamia nut trees.  This honey was very sweet and had a nice natural taste, not like the mass-produced honey.

Hawaii's Local Buzz Macadamia Nuts: These nuts are grown and harvested in small batches in Hawaii.  They are freeze-dried, so they retain the freshness, these were outstanding.

Hawaii's Local Buzz Tropical Shortbread These cookie had a fresh shortbread taste and there are some mango bits thrown in.  There are also macadamia nuts thrown in.  This had a fresh buttery taste that was really tasty.

Final Thought: Hawaii Snack Box included a nice selection of snacks in their box.  I really enjoyed the culture card in the box.  All snack were fresh and delicious.  It would have been nice to see a few more snacks in the box, but I know shipping to and from Hawaii can be expensive.  If you want to try Hawaii Snack Box, use the code HAWAIISNACKS to get $5.00 off your box.
