Family Box ships in a colorful box by USPS.

First Look: The box had four little sections for each week.

There was an information sheet that gave instructions on how to use this box.  Family Box recommends finding a time each week to complete each activity.  The theme for this month is “Fruit of the Spirit”.

The back of the information sheet is a chart to document the bible verse you will learn each week.  You can post this chart in a space that is easily passed by everyone.  For children that can't read yet, it's important to read the bible verse when they pass it.

There was a CD with 12 praise and worship songs.

Week 1: Week 1 introduces you to the fruits of the spirit.  The activity involves coloring 5 fruits of the spirit and making them into magnets.  The half of the paper plate is a basket and can be colored.  This goes on your refrigerator and as members of the family see someone exhibiting one of these fruits, they put it in the basket.  The goal is to get all fruits in the basket.

The back of each numbered card features a bible verse at the top, a passage about that bible verse and questions for family members to discuss.

My oldest colored each of the fruits and stuck the magnets on the back.

This is the finished project and it is on our refrigerator.

Week 2: The next week has four new fruits of the spirit to color.

Week 3: Week 3 talks about sins and how they affect us.  The activity this week is to write a sin on the piece of paper, watch it dissolve in water and watch it wash away.

Week 4:  The last week's project is to make a lightning bug.  The light from the bug represents the light from God.

Final Thought: I thought this was a really great box and I like that this box combines faith, crafts and devotions in one box.  This is a great box that reminds family to have a weekly time to talk about God.  Each project takes no more than 30 minutes, so this box can work with even busy families.  If you want to try Family Box, use this link.
