First Look

The theme for May was anime.  I will admit, I was really disappointed, because I don't know anything about anime.

Funko POP! Anime: Dragonball Z Piccolo Action Figure $9.77  I never watch DragonBall Z, but I was happy to get a new Funko Pop.  This is Picccolo and even though I don't know who he is, he is cute.

Gundam T-Shirt:  This shirt is from the super popular Japanese show Gundam.  Gundam is a Japanese anime show about giant robots.  My husband really liked this shirt, but I ordered the shirt in my size.

Totoro Buttons:  There were four Totoro buttons from the movie My Neighbor Totoro.  You can put these on a backpack or bag.  I have never seen the movie, so I will try to trade or gift these.

Cowboy Bebop Brandana: Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese anime series.  This brandana can be worn in several different ways: from a headband, wristband, or hat.  Like the other items in the box, I have never seem this show either.

Attack on Titan Cinch Bag: Attack on Titan is a Japanese Manga series.  This cinch sack has can hold all your anime items.  I have never read Attack on Titan, but I could find a use for the bag.

Evangelion Manga: I really don't know much about anime, but I have heard of Evangelion. Mangas are designed to be read right to left, so the format you see in the picture, is actually the back of the book.

This is a look in the book.

Final Thought: I didn't do a full retail breakdown, but with the Pop, shirt and manga, this box met the cost of the box.  This box was really a big miss for me.  I am really not into amime, so I really didn't like this box.  This is the downside of subscription boxes, occasionally you get one that isn't your taste.  If you want to subscribe to Nerd Block (or any of their other boxes), use this link with the code WAXON to get $4.50 off your first box.
