GlobeIn is a fantastic box for people who love handmade/artisan products from all over the world. I love items that have a story and that won't look like something everyone else has. Boxes are $35,00 month to month and filled with items all over the world. The artisans who make the products set the prices and GlobeIn doesn't take a commission. GlobeIn also gives back 10% back into the country of origin. I have really loved all my GlobeIn boxes, so I eagerly said yes, when they asked me to review the February Kitchen Box.
I loved the sticker on the side of this month's box. Since this was a kitchen box, it's appropriate that Julia Child would be featured in a quote.
First Look
GlobeIn included a fold out information card. One side featured a list and description of all the products. The other side included a recipe for Easy Vanilla Yogurt Parfait.
Javanica Medium Roasted Coffee from Nicaragua $3.00 I was so glad to get a medium roast coffee in the box. My husband likes coffee, but he only drinks light or medium roasts. Boca Java partners with local farmers, who farm responsible and use fair trade practices. The coffee also smells amazing.
Loom-woven Cotten Kitchen Towel from Guatemala: $14,50 This hand towel is made of fair trade cotton and made on a teadle foot loom. The towel is beautiful and looks great in my kitchen. It is designed to be highly absorbent, which comes in handy at my house. I am going to buy a few more of these for my kitchen.
Natierra Inkasalt from Peru: $4.77 This salt comes right from the Andes Mountains and is only obtained through natural evaporation. This salt has been used dating back to the Incas. This pink salt is free from pollution and any extra chemicals.
Lafaza Ground Vanilla from Madagascar $12.00 These vanilla beans are organically grown. This is free from preservatives, additives, is non-gmo and gluten-free. This can be used to replace vanilla extract in recipes.
Hand-painted Spice Tagine from Tunisia $10.49 These are handmade by Le Souk Ceramique inspired by the seascape. All the painting is done free hand and the paint is lead free, cadmium free, and food safe ingredients. This is made to hold various seasonings or sauces.

Palm Leaf Basket from Oaxaca, Mexico $10.00 est This basket is made by Profiria and Margarita . Margarita's eyesight is failing, but she still weaves impeccable baskets.
Final Thought: This box had a total retail value for $54.76! I was really impressed with this box. Each item is not only unique but is handmade.
