Bitebox ships in a big white box and is delivered by FedEx.  My box came a bit late this month.

Even after your first box, you all the items in the box will come in a big reusuable red bag.

The theme for October is “Fall into my Belly”.

Inside the information card, there is information about everything in the box.

Potlicker Kitchen Spiced Wine Jelly $7.00 This is a zesty little jelly.  Forget grape, this wine jelly has flavors of cinnamon and clove.  This will bring a PB& J to a new level.  This company also makes a beer jelly.

Stonewall Kitchen Maple Pumpkin Butter $6.95 This company started in a little cottage and now is a big business in Maine.  This is a combination of pumpkin, maple syrup, and spice.  I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but it sounds amazing.

Urban Accents Creative Culinary Blends Balsamic & Onion Veggie Roaster: $4.29  The back of the box included a recipe to use this with Brussels sprouts.  Bitebox also included a recipe for mixed veggies, which is what I will use this with.  My husband loves balsamic and I love onions, so I think both of us will enjoy this.

The Saucey Sauce Co. Brown Sugar Ginger Glaze $8.00 As soon as I saw this sauce, I had to try it.  I love ginger and this sauce is amazing.  I can't wait to use this.  There is a ham recipe included in the box that looks like it will be great.

Sfoglini: New York Pasta Shop Pasta Zucca $7.00  This pasta comes from an artisanal pasta shop in Brooklyn.  This pasta is made with Organic USA flour.  The pasta is shapped like little bowls.  I am going to use this to make my cheesy pasta.  You mix cream and Velveeta to make an amazing cheese sauce.  My kids love it.

Quinn Popcorn Maple and Sea Salt: $4.99  Our family loves popcorn.  This has a batch number on it and you can see where your corn was grown.  I made the popcorn last night and it was wonderful.  After you pop it, you add the oil then shake on the flavoring.  It was the perfect balance of sweet and salty.

Bitebox included a huge amount of recipe cards to go in your recipe box.  Everything looks so tasty, I am not sure what to try first.

Final Thought:  The total value of this box was $38.23.  The value was lower than last month, so that is disappointing.  I have come to expect that artisan food boxes will have lower value or just right at the box price.  I did really enjoy the items in the box.  The Pantry Gourmets always delivers on taste and quality of product.  I am betting this is just an off month on value. If you want to try BiteBox, click HERE and use the code forme to save $10.00.
