What's in the box:  Each monthly box includes a half a dozen food items, gluten free recipes, and a few added surprises.

Taste Guru ships by USPS and comes in a pretty, bright red box.

First Look

Taste Guru included a copy of the magazine Gluten Free & More ($5.95 value).  This magazine is filled with all kinds of gluten free recipes.

The information card lists everything in the box, a brief description and some dietary information

The back side of the information card featured a recipe for Nutty Buffalo Fish.  This looks tasty, but my son has a nut allergy, so we won't be making this.

Justin's Chocolate and Classic Butter Blends:  My husband loves Justin's Peanut Butter and he was equally impressed with the hazelnut.

Fusion Jerky Rosemary Citrus Turkey Jerky: $2.14   This turkey jerky is amazing.  It has a sweet and spicy flavor and is very easy to chew.  This was gone in seconds.

Flyjoy Blueberry Almond $2.08 This bar combines fruit, nuts and other superfood into one snack.  My husband didn't care for this, but I thought it was very good.  This blueberry almond bar is sweet, crunchy and chewy.

Baobab Drink Mix in Meyer Lemon and Peach Mango $3.42  I haven't had a chance to try this yet.  These drink mixes are packed with vitamins, antioxidants and other nutrients.  This is a bonus item.

Vivian's Tomato and Herb Soup Mix $1.25:  This mix is dairy free. gluten free and vegan.  My husband loves tomato soup and he is taking this to work.  All you need is water, to make this soup.

The Bacon Jams Bacon Spread: $15.00  I had a Homer Simpson moment, when I pulled out this spread (mmmm bacon).  This spread is fantastic.  I love bacon and this spread makes anything taste better.  I tried this on some bread and it was amazing.  I want to glaze some pork chops with this.

Pik-Nik Sea Salt & Vinegar $3.00 These shoestring potatoes are gluten free, gmo free and trans fat free.  These are like the potato snacks at convenience store, only so much better.  I love sea salt and vinegar flavorings.  One of the cans is already gone, as my kids loved them too

Namaste Foods Hot n'Spicy Coating Mix $3.19  This is gluten free, gmo free, and a great source of fiber.  You can use this to coat your chicken, for a spicy flavor.

Taste Guru also included some coupons.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $36.03.  This was a great box.  I really enjoyed the bacon spread, the turkey jerky and the shoestring potatoes.  Taste Guru has really stepped up tot he plate and created a great box.  If you are interested in signing up, click HERE and get a Taste Guru Tote Bag with a 6 month subscription.  If you sign up for a year, you will get The Gluten Free Companion Guide, a Taste Guru Tote Bag, and the Gluten Free & More Magazine.
