The Details:

Each My Maven Box includes over $40 worth of limited-run nail color and/or innovative beauty products. We curate five new boxes every month, one for each Style Profile. If you have a fully customizable subscription, you can personalize your box as much (or as little) as you like.

Each Maven Luxe Box includes over $60 worth of beauty products. We curate one Maven Luxe Box per month, and all Maven Luxe subscribers have the option to customize.

All My Maven and Maven Luxe subscribers have the option to upgrade and/or add on to their boxes every month.

Can I skip? You’ll earn a skip option every six months, allowing you to skip up to two boxes per year. Log into your account during the Monthly Maven Reveal (20th-24th of every month) to apply the option.

*Mavens who joined before December 19, 2013 are “grandmothered” into their original terms, with no changes to their skip options

The September Collection was called “The Art Walk Collection”.  Note about my review, I included swatches this month.  Please excuse my bad manicure, as I did a quick swatch of each color, and not a full manicure.

Julep’s September Collection contains a new product, a lip crayon. The lip line is call Plush Pout and it is described as a “full-coverage lip crayon with a moisturizing treatment core in the middle”.

Julep included a free product code.  Click HERE and use the code COLORFORYOU to get a free polish with your $15.00 or more in the Julep Store.

The quote in this month's box is  “Creativity Takes Courage” – Henri Matisse

Plush Pout Lip Crayon in Cardinal: Rich, full-coverage red creme color with a moisturizing treatment core

Plush Pout Lip Crayon in Magenta: Rich, full-coverage plum creme color with a moisturizing treatment core

Here are the swatches of the crayons.  I was impressed with the how moisturizing, and pigmented each color was.  They felt great on my lips and had lasted a good long time.

Erin (Boho Glam): Oyster grey crème

I must admit, I didn't love this color when I first saw it, but I got it, because it has my name.  Now that I have seen it in person, I like it more.  I think ti would look best as nail art on a brighter color.

Lupita (Classic with a Twist): Ripe rhubarb crème

Ana (Bombshell): White jagged glitter top coat

I am in love with Lupida.  It is a beautiful rhubarb color and it has a great formula.  Ana doesn't show up really on it's own, but looks nice on Lupida.

Mary Lee (Boho Glam): Oxblood satin

This is like a plum/brown color and is very nice for fall.

Kirby (Bombshell): Silver jagged glitter top coat

This is a pretty glittery polish, but I think it need a bright base under it.

Final Thought:  This was a nice month and I liked all the colors I picked.  I do think this month, the colors were a bit all over the place.  Lupida is my favorite polish from this month.  I was pleased with the formula on all the polishes.  The polish went on very easily and I got a good look with only one coat.  There is a brand new Julep Maven Limited Edition box, and you can get it FREE.  Just click HERE and use the code FREEFALL.  As a maven you get fresh new polish colors and top quality beauty products each month, and best of all, it's totally customizable.  I love my Maven Subscription.  You get fabulous nail colors and beauty products each month.
