First Look

There was a brochure what was an information guide and there was a recipe card to make no-pasta mac & cheese.

The brochure included everything in the box, along with a free sample of Young Living essential oil.  The brochure tells why each item was included.

Fubbles Musical Bubble Recorder $8.99 This blows bubbles at one end and plays music as well.  This helps kids with fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, deep breathing (calming), respiration skills, and oral motor development.  My boys love bubbles and music, so they will love this.

Insect Critters .25 This a cute little bugs.  They have a nice texture, for kids who like toys with texture.  These are small and can be used for many different things.  Many kids need a fidget item, and this would work nicely.

Melissa & Doug Deluxe Light Catcher Scratch Art $2.50  This is a fun craft and I remember doing this as a child.  You scratch colors on the design and then hang it in your window.

Tangle Jr Original Sensory Fidget Toy $5.74  This is my favorite item in the box.  It is a fidget toy, and I personally found it very calming.  I am going to get another one of these for my other son.  These would be great for church. or to help my oldest focus, while doing his homework.

Farm Stick $2.66 This is a cute pair of chopsticks.  My oldest son is working on learning to write and needs some help with fine motor skills.  This will be good to use to pick up pom poms, food, or the little animals.

YumEarth Organic Fruit Snacks, .55 cents: My kids love these snacks.  They are organic, Vegan, Gluten Free, Peanut Free, Tree Nut Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Shellfish Free, Soy Free, and Wheat Free.  They took out all the artificial colors and other drunk, and all that's left is good stuff.

Earth Putty Element $6.99:  This is fun putty, similar to Silly Putty, but there is much more of it.  This is gluten free and is helpful for hand strengthening, fine motor skills, stress reduction, and sensory integration.

Final Thought: The total value of this box is $27.68.  This is slightly less than the $29.99 retail value, but specialty boxes are curated around a certain theme and take more time and effort to make.  I am satisfied by the value in the box and I think all the items in the box worked well together.  My favorite item was the Tangle.  The putty is also really unique and I love the fun color.  If you want to try DiscoverMe Box, click HERE.
