GrandBox shipped in a nice brown box with the GrandBox logo on it.

 First Look

GrandBox wrapped everything in this really cool “nostalgia” tissue paper.

GrandBox sent a letter with the box.  It included a great recipe with the box for Old Fashioned Basil Lemonade.  C's grandma is a wonderful cook and should would make this taste fantastic.  On the other side of the recipe, was my personalized letter.

*Note: It was really hard to find retail prices for the items, so I am not going to include them in this review.

Buzzy Basil Grow Kit:  This little kit lets you grow basil in this cute little pot.  R doesn't have a garden, but she does have that indoor plants.  This is perfect for her.

Jolly Time Popcorn and two snack containers: R loves popcorn and used to eat it all the time with my husband.  I didn't mention this to GrandBox, so it is even neater that they included it in the box.

Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Ultra Moisturizing Hand Therapy $8.00: This is Infused with macadamia nut oil and shea butter and designed to pack in moisture.

Bicycle The 50's Party Starters: These are trivia questions on regular playing cards.

American Flag: C's grandmother was active in World War 2 and was married to a Veteran.  She always has an American Flag on her house.  Again this is perfect for C's grandmother.

GrandBox sent a postcard and the five photos I sent.  I am not showing the photos, because they are really personal, but they were printed on nice paper and were good quality.

Final Thought:  I love the idea behind GrandBox. It is great to have a box that sends boxes to people over 65.  R is such a special person and I know she will love everything in the box.  I really felt this box was curated for her, as opposed to a generic subscription box.  I wish there were a couple more items in the box for $33.00.  GrandBox did do a great job picking out items for my husband's grandmother.  She lives out of town, so I couldn't show her the box before my review, but I know she will love it.  If you want to send GrandBox to someone special, click HERE and use the code subscriptionboxmom to save 15% your order in July.
