Each month you will get a box filled with 4-5 beauty, grooming, and lifestyle samples from both up-and-coming and well known brands. Each delivery will include a mix of categories. Samples are generously sized, with enough product to allow you to figure out if they're right for you. When you sign up, you fill out a beauty questionnaire, so Birchbox can better pick your products. You can find your profile by clicking on “Account Settings” in your account. Click “Edit Profile,” fill out the questionnaire, and then save your preferences.

When am I billed? When you place your order for the monthly membership, you will be billed for your first Birchbox immediately. My Birchbox shipping in a pink cardboard box. Birchbox was late sending me my box, so they gave my 100 points aka free box 🙂 . So far, I am really pleased with Birchbox's customer service.

Lumiere d'hiver Clarifying Shampoo: This has vitamin rich botanicals that gently purify hair while restoring lost moisture and shine. I have heard that clarifying shampoos can strip your color, so I am going to bring this to my salon and ask at my next hair appointment.
Sumita Beauty Jamun Contrast Eye Pencil
Sumita Beauty Jamun Contrast Eye Pencil: This pencil glides on easily and has a nice pigment. I only wear black eyeliner, so I am happy to get a new one.
Harvey Prince Perfume Yogini
Harvey Prince Perfume Yogini: This claims to get rid of stress while making you smell good. I don't know about the stress part, but it smells great. It has notes of grapefruit and star jasmine.
Color Club
Color Club Nail Polish in Heirloom Pearls: I love Color Club polishes! This is a nice pearly white polish. Birchbox teamed up with Gala Gonzalez to create this shade!
Kind Snacks Healthy Grain Bar
Kind Snacks Healthy Grain Bar: This was the lifestyle extra. This bar is maple pumpkin seeds with sea salt. I don't normally eat granola, but this bar was good!
Reconstructing Masque
Reconstructing Masque: This mask infuses moisture and protein into hair. I can't wait to try this! I color treat my hair and flat iron it, so it need some TLC.
Birchbox includes an information card and a tip. My tip “Dust off your board game collection (we're big Scrabble fans). If you're hanging solo, there's always solitaire”.
Final Thought: This was my first Birchbox and I am impressed! I received 100 points when I signed up and 100 points for my late box. I am already ahead $10.00! I love the eye liner, perfume and nail polish the best. I am excited about Birchbox and this is a box I will be keeping. I love that it is so easy to earn points for full size products.
