Stork Stack: June 2013: Picnic Party!

This is my second month with Stork Stack.  I wasn't blown away with my May box, and I was hoping June would be better.  I was really happy with my June box.  My box was for a 14 1/2 month old boy “T”. This month's theme was picnic party and I thought Stork Stack really kept with the theme.  Stork Stack ships their boxes from Chicago, IL on the first of the month.  I was really happy to get my box today (June 3), since the 1st was a Saturday.  I live in Indiana, to give you an idea on shipping times.

Here is what was in my box:
I love how Stork Stack packages their items
First Look
Entire Box
Barbara's Snackimals Cookies ($0.99)  This is cinnamon crunch flavor and each piece is shaped like animals.  The packaging is made from 100% recycled cartons that are made with 100% clean energy, are 100% carbon neutral and they use environmentally friendly inks.  These look tasty and I think T will like them
Sassy Baby 9 oz Grow Up Cup ($7.00) This cup is supposed to teach your child to be able to drink from a regular cup without spilling liquid all over themselves.  I am trying to teach T to use a cup, so this will be used.
GimMe Health Foods: Roasted Seaweed Sheets-Mom Treat ($1.19)
The founder grew up in Korea where seaweed is very popular.  I look forward to trying this and will even let my almost 4 year old L try it.
Tree Hopper Toys: Animal Jalopies ($15.99) I love wooden toys.  They last forever and are safe for children.  This is made by a family owned company near Chicago.  They use American hardwoods for materials.  This is well crafted and I love it.
Susan Brown's Baby: Moisturizing Cleansing Cloths ($13.99)
These are oil free, chlorine free, dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic.  We use generic baby wipes at our house.  They work great and are cheap.  I will use these wipes but would never pay $14.00 for baby wipes.

Final Thought: I really liked this box.  It went well with the theme.  You would have snacks for each person and a drink for baby, baby wipes for messes and a toy on a picnic.  I thought the wipes were very over priced but loved the seaweed, cup, wooden toy and cookies.  I planned to cancel but I am keeping this another month.
