365 Salutes To America by Kathy Wagoner 365 Salutes To America by Kathy Wagoner

365 Salutes To America by Kathy Wagoner $3.35 ($9.95 printed price on book) This book is filled with various patriotic quotes. There is one for each day of the year!

American Flag FlaskAmerican Flag Flask

American Flag Flask $11.98 This flask came in a black box, so it's easily giftable. The outside has a faux leather American flag wrap.  The flask itself is made of a nice metal, and it seems to be worth the $12 value.

Oriental Trading Stars and Stripes Football

Oriental Trading Stars and Stripes Football $1.00 There was an American flag football in the box. This fits in the palm of your hand and is soft and squishy. This is a toy you could play with inside.

Oriental Trading Patriotic Gliders

Oriental Trading Patriotic Gliders $1.00 for 3 These are also from Oriental Trading.  There were three gliders in the box, one for each of my kids (plus a spare).

Midwest Twig with Flag Ornament

Midwest Twig with Flag Ornament $6.00 For the retail price, I looked up the 2002 Midwest catalog.  My family owns a gift shop, so I have access to the pricing guides. This Americana flag is made of a twig and metal flag. This would look cute in an office or on your Christmas tree.

Midwest Ribbon Tassel Ornament $12.50 Like the other Midwest ornament, I consulted the pricing guide for the retail price. This ornament is from the 100th anniversary of the teddy bear from 2002. This ornament was made in commemoration of Theodore Roosevelt and his family at Sagamore Hill.  This was officially endorsed by Theodore Roosevelt Association and The Friends of Sagamore Hill.

Captain America Keychain

Captain America Keychain $5.94 This keychain is of Captain America's shield.  This is officially licensed and very well made.

Window Decals and Stickers

Window Decals and Stickers $1.00 est There were three America: The Box stickers and two window decals.  The window decals have an eagle and American flag on the top  and the words “United We Stand” on the bottom.

America: The Box May 2017 Subscription Box Review

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $43.77 ($50.37 if you go by the printed price on the book). This box did live up to its promised $50 value, but at first glance, it didn't seem like it would. I really loved both ornaments and my husband liked the flask. The football and gliders were nice for kids, but these seems like an adult box, so I really wasn't thrilled with those items.  If you want to try this box, use the code 1776ER to get $10.00 off your month to month subscription. For a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription, use the code SBM20 to get 20% off your subscription.
