Alpha Outpost is a subscription that delivers the tools and training, all around a specific theme. Boxes are $39.95/month and your first three boxes are pre-selected and will be the EDC (first month), an upgraded Gentleman (second month), and then an upgraded Medic (third month).  You can get a subscription or buy past monthly boxes.

What's in the box? Each box contains a theme and the box contains all the tools and training that fit that theme.

Each box comes with a booklet of what's in the box, along with useful information around this month's theme. This month's box had articles about signs of a toxic plant, prepping a cedar plank, common edible plants, and survival recipes.

This doesn't come with a gas cartridge, but you can buy one on Amazon pretty cheap. The grill comes with a handy carrying case, so you can tuck it right into your backback.

Feast Knife $38.00 This is an exclusive item in the box. This has a stainless steel blade with a wooden handle, that has detailed features on it. This is a very sharp knife, and perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.

Feast Utensils

Feast Utensils $13.00 This set all fits together, so you don't have to keep track of all your utensils.  These are made of stainless steel and just slide apart. The utensils came in a little plastic case for storage.

Cutting Board and Cedar Cooking Plank

Cutting Board and Cedar Cooking Plank $6.00 You can cut and cook your food on this cedar plank.  Then instruction book gives you instructions on how to use your cedar plank.  The important thing to remember is to soak your plank in water before putting it on the grill.

Chef Knife

Chef Knife $5.00 This is a stainless steel chop knife with a 3″ blade.  My husband was really happy to receive this, so we don't have to bring our larger one. We don't have many good knives for our camper yet, so I am glad to have this.

Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning

Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning $2.75 This bottle of seasoning contains 8 oz of creole seasoning.  This is MSG free and contains salt, red pepper, black pepper, chili powder, garlic, silicon dioxide.

Metal Skewers

Metal Skewers $4.00 We emjoy making kabobs and have a huge selection of these.  I am not sure if we are using these for camping. but I am sure we will use them.

Esbit Fire Tabs

Esbit Fire Tabs $3.00 These are smokeless and residue-free solid fuel tablets.  This can be use to start a campfire or boil water.

14 in 1  Stainless Steel Multi Functional Knife $5.41 This tool has 14 different tools and gadgets.  There is a slotted screwdriver, tent reamer, nail file, nail cleaner, cork screw, sturdy reamer, phillips screwdriver. knife blade, wood saw, hood disgorger, fish scaler, can opener, scissors, and bottle opener.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $95.16.  Some of the values listed in the information book were a bit off, but the box still had a great value.  The box cost $39.95/month and had over double the retail value.
