Box War February 2016 Review

Box War February 2016 Review

Box War is a new subscription box that gives you a challenge to compete each month.  Boxes are $19.00/month and you will get supplies, a challenge, video debriefing and the winner will win a prize!  To add to the fun, you select the red team or blue team when you subscribe.  Certain teams will win prizes from time to time.  The winner of each monthly challenge will win a prize!  I really had no idea what to expect, but I was excited to check it out.

The Details

Cost: $19.00/month or $24.00 for a one time only box.

Everything shipped in a big white box.  The winner of February's challenge wins a $100.00 Visa Gift Card and a free March box.

art supplies

There were two small canvases, easels, and four brushes.  The rule of the challenge this month was to make something from only these supplies.  The winner is judged by Box War.

paint

There was also three containers of acrylic paint: blue, brown and green.

The only adhesive in the box was two things of superglue.  My kids wanted to help with the project, but I couldn't let them play with superglue.

There were two velvet bags packed with Jelly Belly Jelly Beans.

guy on a swing

This is our finished project, a guy on a swing.  My husband came up with the idea and it was a really fun project to do together.

Final Thought: When I first opened the box, I really didn't know what to think.  After working on the project, I really became a fan of this box.  I love the challenge aspect of this box and it was a fun project to do with my husband.  To try this subscription, or buy a one time box, use this link with the code “BOXARMY16” for 10% off your purchase!
