The information and culture guide was fastened inside the lid of the box.

First Look

090

The culture guide is filled with information about every item in the box, some recipes and a bit about the featured country.

091

There was a map with pinpoints of where each ingredient comes from.

093

The culture guide has a picture of every item in the box and a little description.

094

There were directions for how to create snacks and Thai iced tea from everything in the box.

096

There was also two recipes included: Second Course Green Curry Chicken and Dessert: Jasberry Rice pudding.

Wangderm Thai Iced Tea

Wangderm Thai Iced Tea My husband loves Thai tea and so this will go to him.  This kit contains the tea, and a really nice filter.  Interestingly, the company's business is on the site of Bangkok's old royal palace.

Virgin Coco Coconut Crispy Rolls

Virgin Coco Coconut Crispy Rolls These cookies are call Thong (gold) muan in Thailand, and giving these to someone means you wish them wealth.  These are a crispy, flaky cookie roll mixed with coconut.

Lumium Tom Yum Soup Set

Lumium Tom Yum Soup Set This kit comes with four ingredients to make this sweet and sour soup (the instructions are on the inside of the package).  You need to add onion, mushrooms, lemon juice, and meat/seafood to finish the recipe.  This is a very healthy soup and it looks easy to make.

Minemadame Taro Chips

Minemadame Taro Chips Taro chips taste similar to a potato chip, but a little more sweet.  Taro is very popular in Thailand.  You can eat these right out of the bag, or crumpled on top of a dish.

Chiwadi Coconut Flower Syrup

Chiwadi Coconut Flower Syrup This comes from coconut blossoms and can be added to tea or anything you would normally use honey for.

Nittaya Thai Curry Paste

Nittaya Thai Curry Paste This is a popular ingredient in Thai dishes.  You can use this in various soups or to season meat.  This on of the ingredients in the green curry chicken.

Jasberry Rice

Jasberry Rice This is a new kind of rice packed with antioxidants and fiber.  I love rice, but so many kids can be a bit unhealthy.  I am going to cook this up with some grilled chicken this week.

Eros Dried Jackfruit

Eros Dried Jackfruit I haven't never and jackfruit, until this box.  This tastes a bit like a pineapple and a citrus fruit.  I love dried fruit and this makes a great snack.

Final Thought: Try the World is always a great box to review.  Each box gives you a taste and feel for a different country's food and culture.  I love the Taro chips and the jackfruit the most, but that soup sounds amazing too.  If you want to get this box. use this link with the code SBMOM12 to save 30% on your box instead.  Try the World also still has a great deal on their Holiday Box.   Buy the Holiday Box and get 2 Holiday Boxes FREE!  Use this link to get 2 Holiday Boxes Free when you buy 1.
