Art Therapy by Hachette is an adult coloring subscription that sends both coloring magazines and art supplies each month.  Adult coloring is the newest trend to hit US markets and is more than child's play.  Coloring can be an excellent way to meditate and de-stress.  Art Therapy by Hachette has a special introductory offer for only $4.95, the introductory package includes issues 1 and 2 of the Art Therapy Coloring Books, plus a Free pencil case.  You can cancel anytime, but if you have two weeks from the date you place your 1st order to cancel, without getting billed for your second shipment.

Your second shipment will contain issues 2 and 3, plus a Free magazine tidy box (to store your magazines), and a free coloring board for $9.90 plus $1.00 shipment.  After than, your monthly rate will be $19.80 plus $4.00 shipping for four magazines, plus four packages of art supplies (pens, pencils etc).

Each issue contains 6 intricate designs to color.  Pages tear out easily and are one sided, so you can frame/display pages without hiding another picture.

Issue #1 came with a set of colored pencils and a sharpener.  Inside the book are tips and tricks, along with 6 pages to color.

This is a look in the book.   Each page is on thick paper, and each page rips out.  There is also a space on the back of each sheet to write the title and date.

The colored pencils worked really well, as did the sharpener.  The pack came with 6 colors in all.

Issue #2 came with a set of three markers.  The format of each magazine is the same: tips tricks and 6 coloring pages.

They were a very wet marker and there was some bleeding to the back of the page.

Here is one of the pages. There were several different kinds of coloring patterns and each book also has a color by number page.

Final Thought: This was a fun subscription to review.  The magazines work out to $4.95 an issue, which is what most magazine cost, plus you get art supplies with each one.  I wasn't wild about the markers but the colored pencils worked really well.  I like that you get four new issues a month, so you are always getting new fresh designs.  You can try this subscription for only $4.95 (that includes shipping), so there is a relatively low risk to try it out.  Use this link to check out Art Therapy.  If you choose to cancel, you have two weeks from the date you place your 1st order to cancel, without getting billed for your second shipment.
