Bundles of Joy April 2015 Review + Coupon

Bundles of Joy April 2015 Review + Coupon

Bundles of Joy is a new subscription box for infants and children up to 5 years old.  Bundles of Joy sends customized boxes every month, based on your customer survey.  The survey has many different questions from your children's hobbies, to favorite colors and much more.  There are several text boxes, so you write down as much as you like about your child. There are two different size boxes: Bitty Bundle and Big Bundle.  The Bitty Bundle is the regular box and it is $36.00/month (discounts for longer subscriptions).  The Big Bundle sends twice as many goodies for $70.00 (discounts for longer subscriptions).  I was really excited to check out this box.  I love the concept of a personalized subscription box for my son.  I was sent the Bitty Bundle for my 3-year-old son T.

Double the Joy

Bundles of Joy also has a fantastic philanthropy project.  For every Bundles of Joy sold, they will donate a bundle for a child in need somewhere in the world.  The donated bundles are different from the bundles in the subscription boxes.  Bundles of Joy reaches out to areas where children do not have clean water, clothes and other necessities.  These donated bundles are filled with money for clean water.  books for supporting literacy, and much more.

The Details:

Cost:  Bitty Bundle: $36.00/month, $100.00/ 3 months, $190.00/ 6 months.

Big Bundle: $70.00/month, $200.00/ 3 months, $370.00/ 6 months

Coupon: Use the coupon code BOXMOM20 to save 20% off your 1st box.

What's in the box? Each box will contain goodies such as toys, clothes, shoes, and decor for newborns up to 5 year olds. Every bundle is different for every family!

Shipping: Shipping is Free and they only ship to the United States at this time.

When does the box ship?  Bundles are shipped out between the 20th and 24th of every month.

When am I billed? You are then billed for that month on the first of the following month, so you don't get billed until after you receive your goodies.

How do I cancel?  You can cancel from your account.

Bundles of Joy shipped in a big white box and came by USPS.

Second Look:  This box was packed with stuff.

053

There was an information sheet with the list of items and their values.  There was also a personalized message at the bottom of the sheet.  I love it when boxes write personal messages to subscribers.

DIG! by Andrea Zimmerman and David Clemesha $7.99 This board book about Mr Rally and all the different jobs he does with his big yellow backhoe.  T loves construction vehicles and books.  This board book has several pages, so it's still good for T (age 3).

045

The pages are very colorful and the pages are easy to turn.

047

Two More Minutes Travel Chalkboard Mat + Chalk:  $14.00  This is a roll up chalkboard mat with chalk.  The chalk has its own pouch that velcros shut and an elastic band, so it can stay with the mat.  My oldest is in T-Ball, so this will be a great thing to bring to the ball field with T, or just for car trips.

048

The chalkboard is made of a leather or faux leather material.  It easily wipes off with a tissue or wet cloth.  To store, just roll it up and tie it back together.  I really love this mat.

PicMonkey Collage

Medibuddy First Aid Kit to Go: $5.25 I have received Medibuddies in an other box, and they have proven to be very useful.  Each container has (15) 3/4” X 3” assorted kid-friendly bandages. (1)   3” knee & elbow bandage, (5)   5” X 8” antiseptic wipes (sting free), (4)   2” X 2” Gauze Pads (2-Two Packs), (2)   Antibiotic Ointments, (12) Kid-Friendly Fun Stickers, and (1)   Carry Anywhere Case.  I keep one of these in my car, one in the diaper bag, and I will keep this one in T's room.

Crocodile Creek Dump Truck Mini Shaped Puzzle $8.53 My son loves puzzles, so again, this was a perfect addition.  It is rated for 3 years and up, so he won't be board with this one.

039

Little Kids Paw Patrol Squeeze ‘N Blow Bubbles: $2.84  This container of bubbles is pretty unique.  You squeeze the bottle and the wand comes up to blow bubbles.  When you release the bubbles, the wand returns to the bottle.  It is easy to squeeze and really fun.  My son loves Paw Patrol and bubbles.  He is going to be so excited for these.

051

Little Beans “Just Living The Good Life” Tee: $25.00  This shirt is pretty awesome.  It has a diamond on the front with the phrase “Just Living the Good Life”.  This is made with 100% combed cotton, so the shirt is very soft.

034

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $63.61.  I thought this box was fantastic.  I loved everything in the box and I know T will too.  The Double the Joy campaign and philanthropy project makes me love Bundles of Joy even more.  I really love the chalkboard mat, it is very unique and it will be very useful for our family. I am planning to subscribe to this box for T.  I have been wanting a new subscription and this one has won me over.  Check out Bundles of Joy with this link and use the coupon code BOXMOM20 to save 20% off your 1st box.

I love you posts but I noticed you misspelled shirt….made me chuckle but I thought you would like to know.

  2. Subscription Box Mom, April 9, 2015:

OMG. Thanks for telling me. I proof read and grammar/spell check but that obviously slipped by.

  3. Leigha, April 28, 2015:

DO you think they would do a mixed age box? That would be great for my 5 year old and 9 month old boys.

  4. Leigha, April 28, 2015:

I emailed them and got an awesome response:

Of course! Either the “Bittty Bundle” or “Big Bundle” can be divided between multiple children. Once you subscribe, you’ll be sent a link to a Customer Profile Survey. You should be able to fill it out, submit it, and then go back to the email link and fill it out again for the next child. We will always do our best to split Bundles evenly unless you ask for more goodies geared towards one child or another for specific months.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
