The brand on the ties is actually “Baby Bow Tie”.

    Thanks!

So I have a September 2012 birthday and no option to customize. We have gender neutral so I just assumed we’d get the habitat sticker from m&d and there was no choice for us.. However, your saying that age group has a customize option for gender neutral? Hmm I wonder why I can’t pick? I always customize! Grr

I am not sure when you read this, but I updated the post with a September Split. Gender Neutral kid boxes born Sept 1-14 get stickers and kids 15-through the end of the month do not have a customization option, as the boys have bow ties and girls have bows.

Thanks! Citrus Lane is so random! I just saw another sneak peek picture from them for the month of March and it had the flashcards (from February) and the mother/baby board book from January. This was via their facebook. Total bummer that citrus lane would repeat items so quickly. Especially ones that aren’t that impressive!

  6. Anna, March 1, 2015:

How weird, I was not given the option to customize at all. I have it set for a gender neutral September 2014 birthday. According to your post, I should have been able to choose between the frog or monkey rattle. Oddly, it looks like if my box wasn’t gender neutral, I’d be able to also pick a bow tie or headband, wonder what the neutral boxes are getting instead of this.

Seems weird that only girls have the option for the duck rattle, since when are ducks too girly for boys or people that choose a gender neutral box?
