What's in the box? When you sign up, your child will get a Dental Tool Kit filled with a toothbrush, toothbrush timer, stickers, toys and access to the online activity portal.

First Look

066

There was a little card with a welcome message from Bo and Abby.  Bo and Abby are characters that will follow your child through their subscription.  The letter gives your child tips how often to brush and other proper dental tips.

069

There was a little chart for your child to mark how many time they brush their teeth.  There were two crayons (one for each child).  I do wish there were two charts, so each child will have one.

063

There were two little dental kits, one for each child.
067

Each bag contains a toothbrush.  This is a soft bristle brush with glitter on the handle.

072

There is timer in each bag.  The timer lasts for two minutes, which is the recommended length of time of tooth brushing.  My oldest son was crazy excited for this timer and couldn't wait to use it.

069

There was a little pop up toy.  You turn these inside-out and they pop up.

065

Each kit contains a toy for a prize.  One your child fills up their chart, they get a toy.  This is a sticky bug you can throw against the wall.  My oldest is really excited to earn his toy.  My kids are awesome, because they get excited about tootsie rolls.  I am hoping this phase lasts.

071

There was also a little sticker to remind your child to brush.  My kids love stickers, so this was a hit with mine.

075

The second bag was just like the first, only with different colors.

Final Thought:  Little Dental Hygienists is a super cute subscription and I love the idea behind this subscription.  Good dental hygiene is so important for kids.  I do wish there was a second chart for the sibling.  My 5-year-old is much neater with a crayon than my 3-year-old.  I also really think there should be floss included.  I am horrible about remembering to floss and I wish it was instilled to me as a child.  This box doesn't have a high value on the items alone, but I think it's a cute way to get your children excited to brush their teeth.   You can buy a one time box and try it out.  My children have always brushed their teeth, but since getting the box, my oldest especially has been so excited to use the timer.  If you want to try Little Dental Hygienists, you can get a special introductory offer.  You first box will be $13.95.  If you get add a sibling, you will pay $23.90.  To get this offer, just click here.

Thank you for reviewing my dental subscription box, Little Dental Hygienists. I was happy to hear that your older child is now motivated to brush. That is my goal. Thank you for the kind review. Floss and second toothbrushing chart duly noted:)
