Julep Jewel Heist Mystery Box Review

Julep Jewel Heist Mystery Box Review

Julep released the Jewel Heist Mystery Box. It was $24.99, but I used a coupon and got it for $14.99.  Julep says “It is packed with $100+ worth of mystery nail polishes and beauty must-haves, this tempting box is quite a steal. And if you’re lucky, you might end up with even more loot…” 50 winners get all 12 birthstone polishes (including the three colors nobody’s seen) in a white lacquer jewelry box—a $216 value! 1 grand prize winner gets all that and a pair of gorgeous sapphire and diamond earrings. (1 ct tw)  I couldn't resist the mystery box this time.

The mystery box shipped in a black box.  It wasn't really heavy , so I didn't think I won the 12 months of birthstone polishes.  Note: I included maven prices for all the items in the box.

First Look

020

Nadia (It Girl) $4.99: This is a sheer/frost/pearl/ yellow color.  I think I have this polish, but it is pretty.

Padma (Classic with a Twist):  $5.00 est This color is no longer on the Julep webpage.  This is a pretty deep purple.  I have this already, so I am gifting this.

Faye (BoHo Glam) $11.20: This is a liquid bronze shimmer.  I am not really into bronze, but I haven't decided to trade this yet.

Francis (BoHo Glam) $11.20: This is a celery green creme and I really like this.  I am going to save this for spring.

Julep Lip Vernis Peony $5.99:  I love the lip vernis gloss.  This is a pretty nude blush creme.  I have this, but I am glad to have another, because I use this all the time.

Julep Overnight Repair For Hands $19.99:  This is my favorite item in the box.  I tried this out and it left my hands silky smooth.

Here is the details from Julep:

  • Luxe Repair Skin Serum: A rejuvenating skin serum that delivers deep hydration and essential nutrients to help rebuild skin structure from the inside out. Use on hands, nails, face, or anywhere skin needs repair.
  • Luxe Care Hand Crème: An intensive moisturizer that offers relief from dry, chapped hands and leaves skin indulgently soft

Julep's exclusive Power Cell Complexâ„¢ blends the benefits of three age-defying, skin-boosting, ultra-hydrating ingredients:

  • Rosehip seed oil delivers essential nutrients to soothe and repair.
  • Malvaceae Lipid Extractâ„¢ improves barrier function so skin retains moisture.
  • Green coffee bean oil invigorates skin & promotes cell turnover

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $58.37.  This was a great box.  I used the Maven pricing for this box and Julep uses the full retail price to value the mystery boxes.  The overnight hand kit and the lip gloss were enough to make this mystery box worth it.  If you want to sign up to be a maven, check out all the deals below!

Huh; I tried to use a coupon to buy this and it wouldn’t take the coupon. Mine said it couldn’t be used on boxes. I don’t know if I received the same colors you did or not because mine is likely sitting in my mail box.

I really appreciate the way you do the valuation for the boxes. It is more realistic than the over blown prices.
And I got the same box. Love it. Thanks!
