Little Spark 15-16 Months: Silly Yet Symbolic

This is my 3rd Little Spark box and still love their boxes.  I this this month is my favorite box so far.  Little Spark is $34.95 and goes up to 18 months.  I talked with the owner and they are working on expanding the ages before my son ages out!  Each month you get 2-4 toys along with several pages of information about your child's development.  Each toy is featured on it's own card with information about how that toys helps your child's development.
My son T is currently receiving physical therapy and I love how the cards gives me more ideas to further his development.  The box was well packed and they even included bubble packaging so none of the toys would be damaged.

This month's theme is Silly Yet Symbolic.  The information says this ages is when your child will be engaging in tertiary circular re-actions.  This is when your child will repeat the same action with slight variations to see what happens.  This describes T very well.  He loves to try to get in a certain cabinet and tries many different ways to do it.
Here is what was in my box
First Look (There was a paper band around the cards, but I removed it before the picture)
Board book “If You're Happy and You Know It….” (Retail Value: $5.99)
The cards say this age is perfect for teaching your child their body parts.  This book makes learning fun.  You and your baby can can fun clapping your hands and playing together.
Information cards: 5 cards front and back
Leapfrog Learn and Groove Play Drum (Retail Value: $28.99),  This drum has so many different modes of fun.  It teachers opposite, counting and colors!  It is also very sturdy!
Hape Counting Stacker (Retail Value: $11.99).  I love this toy the most.  It is wooden, non-toxic.  The wood is also  sources from responsibly managed forests! I love that both L (4 YRS) and T (15 MONTHS) can use this toy.  Children can learn colors, counting and sorting.  This also helps those fine motor skills (which T needs).
Entire Box

Final Thought: Total Value of my box: $46.97! I truly love this company.  It is easily one of  my favorite boxes.  I love all the information that comes with the toys.  I also love the toy selection.  A wooden toy and a book in a box makes this mom VERY happy.

This looks like such a good box! I wish the price was just a bit cheaper though. :/

This box looks awesome! I especially love the counting/stack toy!!! I agree…a little cheaper would be great, but I might check it out at least for a month 🙂
